Terms & conditions/ refund policy

(please read all that apply to your scheduled event)

Bookings

There is a (Non refundable) Deposit required to book all services

deposit amount = 50% of total price

  • after menu/ invoice is sent, (within 48hrs of intake completion) client has 48hrs from the date of invoice to review & return with deposit.

  • The deposit is required in order to secure the desired date.

  • Inquiries are kept no longer than 7 days

  • If deposit isn’t sent by the due date entailed on invoice, and client wishes to still secure that date, there will be a $35 consulting fee (not included in total amount due)

  • Balance must be paid in full no later than (7) days prior to scheduled event.

  • Inquiring date must be 1 week or more prior to event date

  • If you’re booking a private dining reservation, please note that venue/hotel should have a fully equipped kitchen. If there isn’t a kitchen accessible, our CWC catering services will be your best fit & will still provide adequate accommodations via pickup/delivery.

  • All set up events booked the week of your event will be subject to a convenience charge of $50.00.

Fees

 

Chef’s booking/Service Fee

The chef's booking/service fee is based upon the time needed for your (Private dining/ catering experience) or number of individuals catered at your event. Brenesia (Chef Capp) reserves the right to a maximum of 4 hours per event/experience.

Chef's booking/Service fee will be billed as a part of your deposit; and does not include the cost of food or extra taxes (7%) and/or fees. Brenesia uses her time to: take your calls, curate your menu & personalized dining experience, shop for food & decor (if requested), visit your event site and kitchen (if necessary), provide an estimate, travel to & from the event site, prep, present the meal, pack/repack, and clean.

Disclosure

Food allergies

Food prepared by CWC may contain the following ingredients: milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. If you or any guest have food allergies, please notify us upon booking. Thank you.

 

Alcohol

We can recommend bartending services, however their fees are completely independent.

Private dining

It is Client's sole and absolute obligation to ensure those served are of legal age.

Brenesia and/or CWC staff will not have any obligations to underage drinking. It is also Client's sole responsibility to ensure that those who are attending an event or private experience, and will be driving are NOT served alcohol after their blood alcohol content reaches or exceeds the legal limit for intoxication.

Food and beverage costs

For wine & dine private couple packages

All food/beverage costs, decor, utensils, etc. are included in the package price.

We DO charge (chef's service fee) which is a flat rate and is for the chef's time and labor.

Travel, taxes, and chef fees are separate from food costs.

For private intimate stay & serve package

All food/beverage costs are per each guest. The estimated total for food/beverage costs, rentals, and supplies is divided amongst the total amount of guest provided by client, in order to determine the total price quote.

We do not mark up these costs or profit

from them.

We DO charge (chef's service fee) which is a flat rate and is for the chef's time and labor.

Travel, taxes, and chef fees are separate from food costs.

For catering pick up/delivery

All food/beverage costs are per each pan of food.

We DO charge (chef's service fee) which is a flat rate and is for the chef's time and labor.

For set up events

(Grand gathering, luxury affair)

All food/beverage costs are per each guest. The estimated total for food/beverage costs, rentals, and supplies is divided amongst the total amount of guest provided by client, in order to determine the total price quote.

We do not mark up these costs or profit

from them.

Damages

If there are any damages to glassware, eatery, chaffers, burners, etc.

there will be a replacement fee ranging from $25-$120, depending on damaged property.

This fee will be due immediately before departure, NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

 

Time policy

Set up events

CWC reserves the right to make reasonable additional charges ($50.00) for events running 45 minutes after the agreed upon start time! OR ($45.00 every hour) AFTER the agreed upon time.

This fee is due before session is started.

Catering pick up service

Please note that Brenesia should be allowed up to 6 hours for shopping and prep time for all orders scheduled the week or day of.

 

Catering delivery

Chef reserves the right to (at least) 45 mins for arrival time due to traffic, accidents in the kitchen, etc. If venue is set for a specific time frame, it is clients responsibility to book/arrange chef’s delivery; for a time frame that best suits any unexpected situations.

Holidays

Holiday rates are calculated at

1 and 1/2 of the regular rate for chef and service staff charges. (Excluding some)

Example: regular rate $20

Holiday rate $30

The following days or dates are considered holidays:

  • New Year's Eve - December 31

  • New Year's Day - January 1

  • MLK Day - 3rd Monday in January

  • Valentine's Day - February 14

  • St. Patrick's Day- March 17

  • Easter Sunday - Closed

  • Mother's Day - Closed

  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May

  • Father's Day - Closed

  • Independence Day - July 4

  • Labor Day - 1st Monday in September

  • Thanksgiving Day - 4th Thursday in November (catering pick up only)

  • Christmas Eve - Dec 24th (catering pick up only)

  • Christmas day - Closed
